Biography

Grant Cashmore was born September 1968 in Hamilton, New Zealand. He has trained with legendary riders such as Mark Todd, multiple Olympic medalist, George Morris, trainer for the American team and Ian Millar, twice World Cup champion. After 9 years of running a training establishment and successfully competing on the European Show Jumping circuit, Grant and his wife Gerrie, have now moved to New Zealand.  They now run their own business providing training in New Zealand.

Grant has recorded numerous successes on the British and European circuits as a member of the New Zealand Nations Cup Team in 2003 and 2004. But his most recent achievement was gaining a place on the New Zealand Showjumping Team for the 2004 Athens Olympics with Franklins Flyte who he has been riding since 1999. Grant went on to record the first Olympic clear round in NZ showjumping and made the individual final.
